Re: Anti gun media continued demomisation of legal gun owner

The article was written by a man whose wife is a professional gambler, making millions of pounds from it. Gambling, studies show, cost the taxpayer in this country 1/2 a billion quid in public services such as mental health, NHS, debt management and crime.

David Mitchell can kiss my big, hairy white ar$e! Effing hypocrite and embodies everything of the trendy, over privileged, left wing middle class... hateful little man.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

What a rude, ignorant outburst.

I’m sure he’s a Corbin supporter, and just like Corbin if confronted face to face this “scumbag” would be a frightened little rabbit hiding behind his wife’s skirts.

Then at the end of the “scumbag” column they ask for contributions to keep these type of journalists in work !!

I don’t think he’s a scumbag or a c-word or any of that he’s just misinformed and rude.

He’s very clever and very funny, also clearly has strong opinions on shooting with little basis in reason and argument.

No reason to stoop to his level and call him names.

Let’s get this correct, he’s a self confessed “scumbag” it’s not what I called him, any expletives used are what this ‘clever’ ‘funny’ person used!

The rag he scribbles for requires that he panders to the general (probably deliberately ignorant) narrative of the average closed-minded Guardian reader.
I'm not too worried about his guff. His mental vomit isn't about to splash onto anyone that isn't already 'on message' regarding private firearm ownership. He writes for a paper that wasn't even listed in the top ten survey of British newspapers as recently as 2017. Even the Daily Star made the cut, FFS!
I'll worry about his opinion when he begins writing for The Sun, The Daily Mail, or The Mirror or some such. Somewhere where he might infect the minds of ordinary people. All featured reasonably well placed in the top ten. The Gruniad? What that?

"closed-minded Guardian reader.".................I take it you mean unlike the open-minded intelligent readers of such reliable rags as the sun, the daily mail, express, daily star, telegraph, mirror et al?

He wrote the tripe because he was briefed and he got paid for it.
