Emotive language, "Basically, more people are applying for gun licences these days (how lovely)," "possessors of lethal force," "packing heat" just what you'd expect from ,by his own admission a "media scumbag".

"Plus, obviously, how dare he! Most of us don’t want to have guns or, ideally, for anyone else to either. So the suggestion that we should all help pay for the system whereby we attempt to weed out the actual maniacs from the mere twats is frankly rude."

So we are mere twats now.

I hope there will be a robust challenge to this disgustingly biased rant.
