I looked it up - it's called "Jobseekers Allowance."

You will have to play the equivalent of 'Battleships' though. It's an easy game but takes too long to play, like Monopoly, so the fun soon wears off.
About ten or more people jostle around a single computer console and try to guess what jobs are available, where they are, and often have to use misspelt search words in order to overcome the efforts of illiterate Job Centre staff to hide them. Frequently the winner tends to be someone who has a looser grasp of real world employers' jargon. They get to keep their 'allowance' for another two weeks.

Back in the old days, before computers 'saved' us, actual jobs and their details would be printed on a card and stuck up on a board.
They found great gangs of people would gather around these boards, gather a few notes on jobs that interested them, enquire about them and be off in five or ten minutes to pursue them.

Clearly this was an inefficient manner in which to determine if someone was really serious about getting a job. So they devised this game where the pushiest person in the crowd got to the single computer and then cack-handedly try to guess where the job is. Instead of being in and out in ten minutes the dedicated 'Job Seeker' will spend the best part of the morning waiting for his turn to 'seek' the job. That's how you know they're a serious 'seeker'.

Hopefully the winner doesn't leave with one of the faux jobs that employment agencies like to phone in to reel in new people on their books. I'm sure people that turn up at the agency aren't at all p*** off that the dream job they could easily do and was welled paid only existed on a computer game. 'But here's a few hours working nights stacking shelves if you fancy it.'

Before I got in to shooting my hobbies were restoring old vehicles.

As a youngster, I started with motorcycles - a Royal Enfield Prince (only ever seen one other of those), Ariel Leader and BSA B40.

Then I moved onto cars - two Morris Minors, a Triumph Vitesse convertible and a Jensen-Healey.

As I got older, the prospect of spending winter evenings on my back welding rusty metal became less appealing so I looked for something less "heavy" and shooting fitted the bill nicely.

I can't bear to think of having to give it up. Not many things will get me out of bed at 6am on a wet Sunday.

Seeing as how so many people seem know how well off you can be on benefits I think I will have some of it when a gun ban makes me redundant.

I think both parties will struggle at the next election.Ill never vote conservative again that's for sure this time it's FOR BRITAIN or UKIP for me and in the event of a no shooting worst case scenario I'll take up archery but I hope whoever's in power will have too much on their plate to start giving us greif.

I have to many hobbies to list shooting is just one of them. Im the Secretary of my main club and a committee member of the other I organise and book all the full bore ranges for both clubs and organise the club full bore comps. Shooting is a big part of my life but if it was to go I would survive. Fortunatelly I dont rely on shooting to earn a living.
