Lightweight Sport Rifle

Anyone shooting LSR? (Lightweight Sport Rifle) We have a few clubs around here shooting LSR and as we are shooting Bell Target, the Viking and I thought we might as well sort a little rimfire out and give it a try.

I'm shooting lsr postal comps in the civil service and police leagues. I can't get real enthusiastic about it as they stipulate targets that are far too big being the PL12 pistol target. For practice I usually use the 10 metre air rifle target at 25 yards, groups on the PL12 are usually 3 or 4 larger.

Various members of my club compete in the Surrey County LSR Leagues. It's a great competition for 10-22's!

I shoot the standing Lincolnshire Lightweight sport rifle comps at 25M (PL19-18) and 50M (PL8) using a CZ 452 also shoot the Eley NSRA 25M one. We have a number of club members that shoot these as well as the Yorkshire league, most using a CZ 455 or similar etc, though we have even had someone using a semi-auto AR and a 10-22 being used.

Our club (Harrow) shoot LSR - lots of different rifles in use from semis: 10-22s and 15-22s; to old single shot bolt action wosr; and high end posh Danish stuff etcetc

The Hendon postal league is pretty big - around twenty divisions in total.

I shoot my old Voere in a Kent LSR comp. 20yds standing on Pl14's.
Accurate and reliable - I'm not concerned about the cool factor.
