Swede Mausers

#1 Post by rufrdr »

I picked up two Swede Mausers about 2 months ago and finally had a chance to do some quick shooting last week. Very accurate even with the military sights which are getting increasingly difficult for my aged eyes to use!

I feel my allegiance to Lee Enfields slipping and Swede Mausers moving in. In the past I owned a couple of M38s and an AG42 but sold them all. I'll be hanging on to these and another M96 that I bought about 3 months ago. I had sworn I wasn't buying any more firearms and then this happened :D

With less recoil and improved accuracy over the .303Brit I can understand the call of the Swede when shot with factory ammunition. I only own a CG63 at present and it is superbly accurate so adding another 6,5x55 is high on the list once this pandemic is over.
