I have a hankering for a CG M63, does anyone shoot one or have any experience of this model rifle?

Excellent target rifle, originally designed for 300 metre target shooting.

We seconds that: with factory PPU ammo ours is exceeding accurate and with pawloads even better! It can hold the V Bull at 600 mards using the standard Soderman iron sights. Makes us wonder why the sheeple bother with Creedmoor...

Does anyone know if the elevation drums as standard were for the 140 grain military round or a specific target round? I was just going to use 139 grain Scenars with some N160 behind.

I’ve had a couple, and did best with N165, but also used the 139 Scenar.
Here is an excellent thread that is very informative https://forums.gunboards.com/showthread ... pter-sight

The one I have coming has the GF Diopter which is my preference although I have no experiance of zeroing it so will need ot take a closer look when the rifle arrives.

Has anyone come across the build numbers by year for the 63?
