Numbers 699,298 and 491. 699 was unissued and the other two were issued to Durham Constabulary and have always stayed in the local area.

What would you recommend treating the wood with?? Mine seems to be varnished.

A coat of Legia is always good, Ovenpaa also uses Renaissance wax.

IIRC wasn't everything after about 450 actually put together by Charnwood Ordnance?

No, just after number 700 from what I understand, or around the last 50/60 or so.

Don't think it was even that amount, Charnwood did assembled some from parts and sold them to public, although 134 of them were never assembled by Enfield, but don't know if these Charnwood assembled ones are part of that 134 or not.

518 were issued to UK Police forces, 16 destroyed during testing/production, and 99 exported to several Far East countries, leaving 134 not assembled.
