Typical plod mentality, arrest, fine and convict all the easy marks get your book out and keep your scores up, and leave the criminals alone. Some of the stories coming out over the last couple of weeks regarding plod have been truly outrageous.

Meanwhile in the sunny republic of Murkeyside ................
1 Fatal Shooting.
1 non Fatal Shooting
1 Fatal stabbing.
1 School (empty) shot up .
1 House (occupied) shot up .

And it seems that one of the people charged with motoring offences during the Aintree Pistol Club raid last year had the case dismissed by the Court a couple of weeks back .
