Did you have to remove the trigger in order to get the safety lever out?

Hi John,
I did post a thread on how to remove the safety on the it's a saiga thread, but yes, you do have to remove the trigger. Its not quite the same as a saiga.

Do you think the Vepr 12 trigger upgrades would fit?

Steve, apologies for pestering you, did you have problems with your magazines? I have a 5 and two 10 round mags with two more tens on the way. On a closed bolt they all drop out when pressing the mag release button, however, on an open bolt only the 5 round mag drops out and the two 10's are a bit stuck. A slight pull and they come out. Any suggestions?

John,
On a closed bolt the spring loaded shell carrier is pressing against the underside of the bolt which is why the mags eject easily. I looked at various youtube vids about mild sanding of the magazine. Sometimes they don't immediately drop out if you're stationary but any movement and they fall out easily. You will probably get better advice on the other thread.

Thanks Steve, even if I shake the gun they won't drop. I have asked on the other thread as you suggested.

to anyone following this thread, most of the aftermarket Vepr 205 triggers fit. i fitted the Bulletec Spike from ishooter.ru, its a cheaper fully adjustable version of the ALG one.dropped straight in.the fitting guide video is in Russian or Polish, but you get the jist.

Did you notice much difference in the Bulletec Spike over the Armsan trigger?
