New Shotgun

#1 Post by Polchraine »

Planning to buy a new shotgun to add to my collection which includes 12g, 16g, .410, OU, SxS boxlock, SxS sidelock, bolt action ... ranging in age from 1920s through to 2010.

Looking for a nice looking, individual gun, OU, 12g, and do NOT want a Beretta, Miroku, Browning or one of the common brands, something a little bit different. My intention is to have a list to target at the game fair in July and want to do some research beforehand too.

One I like the look of is the Italian made William Powell Perdix however there must be others out there worth considering. Budget £3-4k Any suggestions, please.

Yes, I know all about fit, how it handles, weight, how I shoot with it &c and not just "because it looks nice".

Blaser F3. Had one, loved it. Couldn't hit sh1t with it, so sold it. Regretted selling it since.... really should have got it fitted, but was attracted to the "Shiny want one" syndrome of new gun shopping!

Darne! Too bloody right they're different! I had one as well! Yet again, sold it because I'd seen something else.... actually, dromia bought it!
