Where are you getting it from?

Maxam GDB 111 powder

#5 Post by Triffid »

Anyone got experience of using Maxam GDB111? I'm picking up a tub of it at the Shooting Show mainly as it's cheap!

Information I have so far is:

Double base, cylindrical, high density powder.
Burn rate between Vihtavuori N133 & N135.
Load info available for .233 Remington, .243 Winchester, .270 Winchester, .308 Winchester & 30 06 Springfield from the manufacturer:
https://www.maxamcorp.com/en/cartridges ... nts/powder.

I've been using their PSB+2 powder as a Unique replacement in .44 Mag light loads for the last year and am really impressed with it. So I thought I'd give it a try in a rifle, probably .223 with a 69gn bullet.
