Casting shot.....a couple of questions if I may

#1 Post by Gazza »

I'm using new roofing lead offcuts.
I am casting buckshot to use in shotgun cartridges.
Do I need to add antimony and tin? if so what is the ratio per kg/lb?
Or being that the shot is relatively slow compared to a bullet can I just use neat lead and still avoid deformation?

I would add a smidgeon of tin, around 1%, to aid flow and fillout.

Add nothing else, soft is good.
