What do you pay for Milsurp ammo?

#1 Post by poll007 »

after a rummage through my ammo safe i was wondering what everyone is paying these days for ammo to feed their misurp collections.

last times i bought any was a year or so ago but even in that time prices seem to have gone up.

I was paying per hundred
-7.62x54R (surplus in spam cans)-£30
-7.5x55 swiss (privi)-£69
-7.5x55 swiss (GP11)-£73
-7.5x54 french(Privi)- £55

I also have 8x56R and .303 on my fac but haven't bought ammo for them

So my question is-what are you paying to feed your collections and where are you sourcing it? thankssign in advance

At the moment, Simply Ammo is charging between £34 to £38 per hundred for x54R and x39 canned bangs depending upon type and quantity. They stock Czech, steel cased, non corrosive primed rounds that we have found very consistent and, occasionally, brass cased, Boxer primed rounds too.

Just paid £55 for 200 7.62x39 at Hannams after recommendations on here.

It's so cheap I'm gonna ask my local shop to start buying it in off them. Can't reload it that cheap.
