Got some things im trying to sort out for someone can anyone help to identify these and are they of any use ..
22 rimfire for comparison and there is more than one length .

230/297 Morris tube ammunition, there were long and short versions.

Post in the correct forum in future or the thread will be removed, sloppy posting is on the increase again so post won't be moved they will be gone.

If you have a Morris tube for your 303, I have also had the odd Rook rifle chambered in the same.

No longer manufactured, but reloadable.

Tend to be collectors ammunition now a days. Not that rare but surely will be in days to come.

there is also an extra long version, they are very soft shooting.
Used for vermin/rabbit control in the past

See the antique section on Gunstar. There are at least two for sale.
Brass is easlily formed from 22 hornet , for which you need an expensive set of dies. In theory, you need a mould for a stepped bullet more or less identical to a 22 long rifle bullet, I shot this round about 20 years ago and managed to scrounge bullets from Eley.
