Re: Wet rotary tumbler

#21 Post by Pete »

I run mine in the garage............it is pretty noisy, (but not noisy enough to detract from the fact that it is an absolute bargain !! shakeshout ).
I use a dessert spoonful of non-bio washing liquid plus a teaspoon of citric acid plus 1-2 litres of warm water.
I run it for around 45 mins. Pick the cases out by hand, shaking out any pins and drop straight into a couple of litres of warm water, sloosh around, drain, into rain water, drain and blow dry.........simples.
As far as cleaning the pins/drum goes, I just carefully pour out the dirty water, rinse around a couple of times, and put back on the shelf leaving the pins in ready for next time.
