LePage pistol - Anyone shooting one?

Anything muzzle loading in here. Old and new, rifles, shotguns, pistols and even cannons!

LePage pistol - Anyone shooting one?

#1 Post by 1066 »

I have a LePage .36 muzzle loading duelling/target pistol. It's great fun and shoots very well, however, it is slow to load so I decided to make up some "speed loaders". These work very well as I can pre-load the ball and patch it probably cuts the loading time in half.

Not my original idea - the mountain men of 1830 knew this trick.

Thanks for that. One of our club members shoots a Le Page, I'll show him this.

Novel idea - I take it these are 3d printed? Fancy making up a few for sale or providing the files?
