Barnes Tipped Triple-Shock X

#1 Post by Graham M »

Has anyone tried these on deer.

The Barnes TSX I wanted are out of stock and they have offered these as an alternative. Never used non-lead before so this is a new learning curve for me as I wouldn't have used a polymer tipped bullet on deer before.

I have used the versions 150 grain for many years now in my 308. Basically just loaded them as per a lead 150grain bullet with no problems what so ever.
They are excellent. The beasts just drop on the spot.
HIGHLY recommended .
