Potential New .22 LBP

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

I was looking at the new KalTech CP33 as a possible LBP.

33 rnd magazines would annoy the competition in practical comps.

Looks like a fun gun... unfortunately I suspect only criminals will ever get to use one in the uk.

After shooting the NRA comp weekend just gone. I can confirm magazines are basically the limitation on a lot of stages.

not really, as an example one stage was 12 rounds. a pain in the arse when its a quick stage and you need to reload. those with 12 or 15 rounds mags are always going to be quicker...

some of the stages can be seen here.

probably the same as i manage with a 10 round mag. My point was its harder to compete on some stages against others that have high capacity mags.
