Re: CMMG is coming home....
Very pretty. Obviously will need to pitch against the M&P15 .22lr.
Does the forward assist work? Any other advantages against the S&W?
Oh, and the big question... how much?

Another colonial question, I'm afraid. :) Am I correct in my guess, from seeing those photos, that semi-auto rifles are allowed there, in .22LR ? Thanks :)

Yes, and to add to Dromia's response (and in case you didn't know) so are semi auto shotguns (In both Section 2, 2 shot mags, and Section 1 in the sky's the limit mags / tubes etc).Browning_grrl wrote:Another colonial question, I'm afraid. :) Am I correct in my guess, from seeing those photos, that semi-auto rifles are allowed there, in .22LR ? Of course, strictly speaking - full auto / semi auto full bore rifles are allowed - you just need Section 5 authority to posess / manufacture - just like Lantac does over here :-)

So which parts of the LANTAC CMMG "improved" are:
a) Made by LANTAC
b) Improved over a bog standard CMMG
Thanks!

Re: CMMG is coming home....
I suspect the rifle has been re crowned, live round extraction improved because as standard they don't do it very well extra weld put on the carrier like cmmg used to but then stopped doing I suspect as a cost cutting exercise and the trigger honed and polished. I will be corrected no doubt if I'm wrong but that's what Paul use to do before.majordisorder wrote:So which parts of the LANTAC CMMG "improved" are:

Re: CMMG is coming home....
Main advantage is you can put a .223 upper on it as its a .223 lower. The forward assist does work and it feels like a firearm in comparison to an airsoft rifle although the m&p15 is a good rifle it's just to light.daman wrote:Very pretty. Obviously will need to pitch against the M&P15 .22lr.

Re: CMMG is coming home....
That's pretty neat. You could use the .22lr upper for plinking in down the club and change up to a straight pull .223 for range work.Rburro2 wrote:

(M&P too light? You need to stick more airsoft bling on it! )
