Looks like a nice example

Give a man a gun and he can rob a bank.....give a man a bank and he can rob the world!.

More than a vested interest in 7.62x54r!

This is no ordinary long thingy, ratty, this is a Finnish upgrade of a long thingy. It's not only as reliable as every other Mosin, but it also hits what it is pointed out.

We knows...we likes Finnish things - just had our heart set on an M24 "Lotta" or an M28/30 as first bang stick in the Finnish collection.

An advantage of the M91 is that they saw service with the Finns in WW1 & the 1918-onward Independence War PLUS the WW2 period Winter War & Continuation War & Lappland War. More banging going on there than with a bloat of Geordie lasses on a hen night doon the Big Market.

Will have a long look in the spares bin later for rainy day liquidation goods.

What's even better is he may throw in 1000 rounds of Lapua 7.62x53 Match ammo for free....I doubt it, but may as well continue the daydream ;)

Shot yours yet Badger?

This one was made at the Chicopee Falls Hill Plant in Massachusetts which, as we all know, later morphed into the Savage plant - purveyors of the Lee Enfield No4 during WW2. The civil guard stamp even tells you which district it served in before the Civil guard was disbanded.
