I have an old Anshutz 525. Well made and accurate. Cheap as chips too.

Hmmm... they are OK until the trigger pins start to wear the casting and wobble around. They can be re-bushed but it is a PITA and I only ever did it to my own rifle.Lampuki wrote:I have an old Anshutz 525. Well made and accurate. Cheap as chips too.

My BAR-22 is remarkably accurate, certainly as good as my old Anschutz. Only pics of groups are at 25m though.
SK Standard Plus including foulers
BAR tenex (just to see!)
I have a 10-22 with a VQ barrel. It's currently set up for NV using a Photon Extreme, so not ideal for small groups (the video below was filmed a few days ago, checking holdover at 82m and zero at 50m)

Edit: can't seem to embed the YouTube link. Never mind, it's pretty tedious!

Re: Most accurate .22LR semi-auto
I think the SK Std+ is a great cartridge for the money, very accurate and consistent in bolt guns and runs all but the most fussy of our semi-autos whilst being subsonic when a moderator is added.
Arming the Country, one gun at a time.
