Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
The mount is cheap but shipping is a killer - did you try www.1967Spud.com in the UK?
Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
Yes I tried Spud and all the major suppliers in the UK. They will sell you a bipod but none of them stock the mount.

Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
I received a confirmation email from them they have posted the mount out. I also got one from FedEx advising me that they are going to deliver it next Tuesday before 18:00 hours. So not bad considering its coming from Holland. I also got an email thanking me for my business. I have ordered some M Lok fittings next day delivery. So all in all a very expensive Bipod I hope it lives up to the hype.
Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
M Lok fittings arrived to day so 24 hours. So once the mount arrives I am in business.

Nice is that a Shooting Shed bore guide to the left of the rifle.

Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
No, that's my AI AT .308 bore guide which was next to the RPR (6.5CM) (which my son was shooting), Although I do have Shooting Shed bore guides for: RPR, AI AT (6.5CM), Savage 6BR and Remington 700 (.223).
That's an old picture, the RPR also now as a Shooting Shed rear bag rider and a better scope (S&B). In fact, Shooting Shed used my RPR stock to develop the RPR bag rider.

I have a Shooting Shed rear bag rider on my RPR
Re: Shooting Shed Bipod thingy
I had some spare time to day so I fitted the Mlok rail and fitted the spigot adapter I then mounted the bipod. I am impressed it is way better than the Harris I had on it. I can not wait for a range day.
I am going to shoot them alongside each other.
The Fortmeier is on the Ruger Precision.
The Shooting Shed offering is going on the Steyr SSG.
I am expecting them both to work they are both an improvement on the Harris bipods I have been using I am excited to see how the Sheds version works out on the SSG. Its all ready an accurate rifle. I have fitted a new 30mm scope to it.
The original khales scope is showing its age time to retire it me thinks. The body has bluing missing the turret markings are faded. The glass is still crystal clear but its served its purpose over the years time to give it a rest.
