My GSG 1911 works flawlessly never had any issues with it I use it with a long eye relief pistol scope. Great fun.

Times and Precision 1 is a popular Gallery Rifle course of fire.
Re: looking for information on GSG 1911
I love mine, great for speed steels, 3 gun comps and equally at home for T&P 1, multi-target and most Gallery Rifle comps, I have a done a few mods, Hogue grips, vortex red dot & Calibre Innovations mount, magic 9 barrel & bushing kit, barrel thread protector ( I don't use the fake 'can' ) Slight re-shaping of the coat hanger mount/magwell to permit firm mag insertion.

I would be comparing the gsg 1911 vs the Walther 1911
Has anyone done a direct comparison?

looking for information on GSG 1911
Ten minutes watching a gun video on YouTube is never wasted but it’s pretty uninformative.
Also it’s based on an older offering GSG/SIG wise, the newer ones have some improvements in the slide stop, finish and I think the feed ramp?

Really like mine so far. Have only hit steel with it at 25 yrds though, no paper punching yet. As far as feel goes, again I much prefer the lack of weight over the gsg. Any time you handle it; out the cabinet, out the bag down the range etc, you can almost convince yourself that it's the normal deal. Would have no problem one-handing this. That said I held the PPQ again and man do I want one even more now! Those things are the king of lightness and feel imo but obviously there's the price...

Re: looking for information on GSG 1911
Having read all of the information that I could find on the .22 lap options, I have plumped for the Walther Colt Gold Cup-I am yet to fire it but look forward to getting it run in this coming week.
I will report back when I have put some rounds through it.
It does feel very much like my 1911 from days of old and I can feel a new set of grips coming on but it's good enough as it is for now
