Henry X Model

Re: Henry X Model
All of the Henry’s I’ve handled and shot have been outstanding quality with the only downside being they weren’t side loading. Should Marlin ever come back, they’re going to face some real competition with the X-model.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Indeed, and also a lot cheaper than the similar style 'black' Chiappa Alaskan Take-Down...which is though a lot lighter, as I do find the Henry's are quite hefty.
I would consider something like either of these two instead of my lovely Uberti 1873, if my eyes get so bad I have to resort to optics for gallery.

Re: Henry X Model
totally agree, my 357 mares leg was a great gun, especially once I put a stock on it! only reason I got rid was the tube.

I fancy one as I’m not keen on most lever actions but it looks like it will be late 2022 at the earliest.
