Marlin 7000 Magazines

#1 Post by ovenpaa »

Does anyone know if there is a 5 shot magazine available for the Marlin 7000 or an alternative, instead of the standard 10 round jobbies?

Seven round used to be the "old" standard for Marlin magazines. The vast majority of Marlinrimfire semis, just like the bolt guns, use the same magazines. So the new production mags for the 795, will fit the model 7000 and those that went before it.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Thanks SimG, I do recall the 7 round magazines. I know next to nothing about Marlin rim-fires and was really looking for 5 round magazines. I am tempted to try and convert a 10 round just to 5 just to see how it looks.
