Yes for 73 grain Berger bullets and it looks like you can cram the case. I have shot 25 grains of TR140 with an OAL to suit the magazine length with a Wylde chamber and no issues at all, it looked to be on par with 24,6ish grains of N140 however I did not have a Chrono with me at the time.

I shot .223 73 grain Berger's with 24.5 grains of TR140, 57.4mm COL, and got an average of 2904 fps, no undue pressure signs.
Air temperature was 3C, Tikka M595 TR conversion with a 30" 1:8 barrel, SAAMI chamber.
With 25.0 grains, I got 3050 fps.......again, no undue pressure signs, but I backed off to 24.5 because the grouping had opened up a bit.

Please be aware that these loads may produce dangerous pressures in your rifle.

Tried 3 loads today, 24.0, 24.5 and 24.7 grains of TR140 behind a 77 grain SMK in a RUAG case and CCI BR4 Primer.
20" Barrel 1 in 7 twist.

24.0: Ave 2739 FPS
24.5: Ave 2824 FPS
24.7: AVE 2866 FPS

The 24.5 had the best SD so I'll load some more and do some grouping practice to see how it fairs. The 24.7 was a little stiffer to extract but there were no excessive pressure signs on the cases. The TR140 meters well and has a smaller grain size than the RL15 its replacing.

This is great to hear as I'm just looking at powders for my 223. It's a 1in8 tikka T3 and I'm hoping to launch the 75 Amax. The length to the the lands is around 2.489" from memory and I'm using an AI mag so can load for the mag. I just need to get hold of some TR140 now! Any tips on start points?

Beware of taking info from the internet but something starting at around 23.5 grains and working up would be about ball park. TR140 is available at Bisley.
