Have had quite a few questions recently relating to importing parts from the US and self building an AR so here is a re-post of my build with some additional pictures/video and testing of the finished rifle for anyone who is interested:

Yes, much trouble. The majority of US barrel makers I contacted weren't interested in taking one off the line before it was ported even though it meant less work for them. Krieger were one of the very few I found who were happy to do this. I did try UK makers eg. Border, but they said they only supply blanks. I needed a drop in barrel ready to go.CDM5 wrote:Nicely done
