If we entered a time of Civil Unrest/Armageddon/Zombie Attacking, what would we do?

You only have to watch the first and last episodes of S5, the rest was filler drivel after they blew the entire seasons budget on the first episode. I REALLY hope they don't do the same with S6

^ this.
I find they follow a pattern. First episode, brilliant, get everyone hooked. Downhill slide to mid-season finale- cliffhanger. Good first episode of half season, downhill. Last two episodes of season good.

Rinse and repeat

I thought the going back in time black and white footage was sloppy at best. Why didn't they just show those scenes in series five? 8-)

Because it was all set after the finale of S5.
I actually thought it was pretty well done.
