Steven from Scotland

#1 Post by Burnie1000 »

Hi everyone,

I've been shooting .22LR every week with my Dad at our local club in Stewarton now for about 18 months.

Sent off my FAC/SGC application in May, FAO visit in July and patiently waiting. Was hoping to receive it before going to Galloway Country Fair @ Drumlanrig Castle on Sat 20th Aug.

Still undecided which .22 rifle to purchase, in meantime still researching and saving.

Hi Steven .... welcome to FBUK! :good:

What type of .22 shooting are you doing mostly? Target (serious or otherwise), general 'gallery rifle', moving target, or something else?

Hi Steven

Don't rush to buy, there's lots to choose from!

Nothing serious at the moment, just target shooting - free standing @ 25 yrds & recently started benchrest.

Monthly competitions within the club mix things up - combinations of freestanding, elbows & kneeling.
