Pistol shooting anyone ?

#1 Post by froggy »

Salut,

I am thinking about organising a pure pistol shooting week-end.

In addition to the dynamic W-E Class planned later this summer, in the meantime, kinda April, what about simply getting a bunch of guys together, book a couple of shooting lanes in a Czech Rep shooting club for 1 or 2 days, bring the biggest stash of various different hand-guns possible (*) and ammo and just get some "happy" trigger day time & evening beers ?

Nothing too fancy : classic targets, silhouettes targets, gongs, moving/advancing targets, holstered/non-holstered etc... your choice.

Any Full-bore members interested ?

(*) and if anybody want to try the "bad guys" toys I can of course bring various Warsaw pact stuff : AK, RPK, Vz 26, 58, 61, PPSH, PM06, PM63, mini beryl etc...

Sounds good, what date in April were you thinking of?

Remarkably tempted by that, 23/24th April would be good for me. Given the costs of flying/getting to airport/parking etc, to me two days would make more sense than one. But perhaps a not too late finish on Sunday to get back at a reasonable hour?
Careful now/that sort of thing

It is only an idea but that is also what I had in mind or around ? It is easy to organise, same range as last trip, same hotel with pool & sauna, decent bar serving cheap excellent beer etc... let me go on work on it ;)

I would love to but I have used up my weekend pass for April already as I am entered and running in Toughest in Pippingford Park on the 23rd April. This the first Toughest race outside Scandinavia ever so cant miss the opportunity to enter it. I have not yet persuaded anyone to enter Toughest Ice with me yet
