Are the primers crimped? What's it comparable to, Brian? PPU? I never used it but could be tempted.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

I believe they are.

Its said to be very good brass - much better than ppu.

It feels much harder than PPU going through the full-sizing die to me which I guess translates into more reloads possible

more likely to equate to thicker walls so less volume, I am getting flattened primers below max with the ones I am using (GGG) and yes the primer pockets have to be reamed out to remove the crimp, other than that all good.

And a box of 300 now. Thats the most I can get in a 2kg royal mail small parcel rate box.

So you get best value for your postage.

At £8 per hundred this has to be the cheapest match .223 brass going.
