1p21 "Minuta" 4-12x42 pancratic zoom scope for Dragunov

Rare 1p21 pancratic zoom scope, it is a PO 4-12x42 (not the more common 3-9x42 version) produced for a Russian military contract by BeLoMo in Belarus in the early 90s and is the milspec grey colour and was used on the Dragunov and also the PKM belt fed MG so as tough as old boots and very rugged.Complete with two rubber eyepieces, rubber caps for when the scope is not in use, an unmarked and very rare original dropcase/pouch, a tinted lens cover and a rare original canvas cover that covers the scope when it is mounted on a Dragunov.The dropcase and canvas cover and very hard to find in this condition.

The scope has a pretty unique feature were the zoom setting corresponds to the range when zeroed at 100m using Russian 7.62x54r and automatically compensates for bullet drop.The scopes optics are very clear with multi coated lenses....there is a small scratch on the objective (front) lens but it is not visible when viewing through the scope and does not effect its operation in any way, i tried to take a photo of it but couldn't get a decent photo where it is visible.The scopes reticle also fully illuminates at night (operated by a switch and powered by readily available button cell batteries) for use in low light conditions and again this functions perfectly.It also features a built in extendable sunshade.
Ideal for using on field-fire ranges such as Sennybridge F Range etc were there are targets at varying distances.
