Thread adaptors can be sourced for a lot less than £60

I got a stainless one that allows me to use a 5/8"x24 (UNEF) moderator on a 1/2"x28 (UNEF) threaded barrel - cost about $25

Folk good with a lathe can make them for around that price too locally...

The Predator ones are integral to the mod, they sit between the front baffle section and the rear chamber.

Probably

The adaptors I have sit on the end of the rifle barrel. Makes no difference how the moderator is threaded as it just fits on the new barrel thread section

USD25.00 is around GBP18.00 so I would suspect sourcing a well made one off adapter in stainless for this price might be problematical unless the person doing the job just stuffed a Tap up the middle and a Die across the OD.
