Adler a110 section 1 under lever shotgun

#1 Post by safetyfirst »

As seen here:

http://www.practicalsportingsupplies.co ... otgun.html

It's the walnut variant with the plus 8 tube.

Comes boxed with all accessories, I've had 100 through it, great fun but a bit of an impulse purchase and I need to make room for an auto!

Total new price is £540, selling for £450 collected from Derbyshire or will split any costs of RFD transfer.

If only that was a shorter barrelled version....
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Since it's a lever action and as such is not subject to the same barrel length restrictions as a pump or semi (meaning it goes into the main long gun restriction of 12/24 or 30/60cm), wouldn't it be doable to get it cut down by a gunsmith? Surely its legal and the same as doing it to a rifle Sim? Or would that cost more than some are willing to pay? Wasn't someone looking into bringing in the 16 inch barrel version with a pistol grip only as well?

I really like the look of them. Why the importer is bringing in 24" as the shortest is really restricting the market for this gun, to my mind.

These are getting a pretty good reputation in Australia.

Yeah, whats the point of having a section one shottie that can be shorter if, its the normal pump and semi length. I thought the whole point of them was meant to be that they could 18, 16, even 12.5 inches with a 24.5 oal if need be. The Aussie's love them from what I've seen too.

I know but I have a Sec1 Mossberg 500 pump and a Sec2 Hatsan MPA semiauto and have just put money down on a WSM .300 ****

So unless you're after a swap or the price comes down to make the hassle with the FEO and wife an acceptable 'risk' it's gonna have to stay out of my cupboard wallhead
