Southern Gun Company 9mm lever release UZI variant

#1 Post by Cj10 »

Am rationalising my collection and focusing on fewer disciplines hence looking to sell my SGC 9mm lever release which is configured for UZI magazines. It is in excellent condition and has had no issues with feeding, etc

The rifle includes a Magpul CTR stock, MIAD Grip, AFG, Troy drop in rail and 3 magazines. Will also throw in 300 9mm brass, around 400 125 grain rn lead bullets, and a set of four Lee dies.

Does not include the c-more or fore sights.

Price = £1700. If you want the sights I'll add them in for another £180.

I have always wanted a lever release. However, until this is resolved https://www.full-bore.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=31827 and the full extent is known, there is much uncertainty about lever release (and MARS). I was informed by a local RFD that owners of MARS are trying to move then on. In my opinion MARS is more of a concern than these.

I’m happy to sell or hold on for whatever happens post-consultation. Should there be a prohibition I’m fairly confident I won’t lose any money. I actually made money back in 1997, buying up a number of pistols to shoot out then surrender.

It is more a case of me simply not using it much any more.

Based on today’s Offensive Weapons Bill I will now be “selling” to HM Government, with a price to be determined.

They won't. How can they properly compensate for seizing cherished property and p*** ing all over the concept of ownership?

From my understanding of the wording it only applies to gas operated firearms (MARS & .223 SGC LR) not recoil operated as with the .45 and 9mm LR by SGC.
“any rifle with a chamber from which empty cartridge cases are extracted using
o I) energy from propellant gas, or
o Ii) energy imparted to a spring or other energy storage device by propellant gas,

A blowback mechanism does utilise the energy from propellant gas to operate.
