FS: Browning Citori 12G multichoke O/U Shotgun

#1 Post by DavidRees »

I'm no longer using my two shotguns, being fully involved in gallery rifle, so it is time to sell them.

This is a Browning Citori over/under shotgun, 12 gauge, multi-choke, which I bought 2nd-hand over 15 years ago. I've put perhaps 1500 cartridges through it over the years, so not really a lot of use from me. In good, but not mint, condition. Functions perfectly.

Price: £650.

I'm based in central Scotland, near Stirling, but can RFD-to-RFD if required, buyer paying fees.

If a face-to-face sale (I'd prefer this), please bring your shotgun certificate!

David.

Hi there, I have a few questions:

What length are the barrels?
Any idea on length of pull?
Does it have any cast?
What's the drop at the heel?

and finally, what's the black stuff on the stock - is that a inch thick rubber pad or tape or some such, I can't quite make it out?

Cheers

Nick,

I'll measure the barrels when I'm next in the safe, and will post that info.

The black stuff at the end of the stock has always been there -- it's integral to the stock as far as I know. It's some sort of pad, though how much recoil it absorbs, etc., I have no idea.

The rest I don't know, and don't know how to measure. I bought it 2nd-hand, and none of that was mentioned at the time. I assume it's to do with how well it fits an individual shooter? That's why I'd like to sell it face-to-face if possible, so someone can ensure it fits them before buying it. I think you are quite a way from me, so that's a bit difficult to arrange, unfortunately.

Thanks for your interest, though -- I'm sure others have thought about these points, but haven't asked!

Open to offers, or perhaps some kind person could PM me as to why this isn't selling?

I plan to take it to a dealer to sell on commission Saturday 1st Aug, so if you are tempted, but the deal isn't quite right, this is your last chance...

David.
