Hatsan 20 bore semi...

#1 Post by Sim G »

Got a Hatsan 20 bore semi. This was my second Hatsan and bought it for my boy, as the 12 bore I had impressed me.

This is a "youth" model. It has a black synthetic stock, with removeable spacers and a 24" vent rib barrel. Its a multi choke and has three. It's boxed and has everything with it that came from the factory.

As I said, I bought it for my boy. But, it didn't take long before he decided he'd rather use a 12ga, so this sat in the cabinet. I'd drag it out now and again and shoot a couple of rabbits with it or some clays in a mates field, with the spacers fitted it gives a 13 1/2" LOP so more than useable for an adult. I reckon this hasn't had more than a slab of cartridges through it. It is in excellent condition.

I then decided to perhaps give it a go on Target Shotgun or even Practical!! So I managed to find a new, uncrimped mag tube and a mag extension. I havent fitted them yet as I never got a variation, but, the tubes and spring come with the gun! So just to reiterate, this is a Section 2 gun, but there are new parts that have not been fitted, which with the appropriate certification will turn this into a Section 1, eight shot, 20bore semi!!!

If you can face-2-face I'm sure theres a few boxes of cartridges I can pass on as well...

£295.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?
