Parker Hale .270 (Wilson built) in Hogue full chassis stock.

#1 Post by breacher »

Offering my stalking rifle for sale as I am looking at either an AR10 or LMT which will be used for stalking as well as target.

The background - this rifle was built in the 80's or 90's by a Mr Wilson who worked at Parker Hale and used hand selected components to build his own rifles on the side. This one was built but then put into storage and never used !!

I got it a few years ago and have added a Hogue rubber overmoulded stock ( the one with the full length aluminium chassis - not the cheaper one that flexes ) and a Nightforce 8 - 32 x 56 BR scope, mildot reticle .125 click values. I have also screw cut it for an Ase Utra suppressor. It also has a tactical bolt knob.

To date its only fired under 200 rounds - you will struggle to find a Parker Hale with such a low round count.

It is very forgiving on ammo - I have used 130 and 150gr in it with good results. Recently I have been using Norma 110gr vmax which is amazing through this rifle. Easily sub moa and great on foxes and Fallow.

The whole kit has been sprayed with matte green and brown paint. It looks rustic but performs great !!

I hate to part with this rifle but a LMT is not cheap and will do two jobs with one rifle.

Can offer rifle inc rings alone at £600
Or rifle inc rings and suppressor at £700
Or rifle inc rings, suppressor and scope with butler creek covers and nice leather sling at £1200

I think this is a realistic price considering the scope retails at £1400 and the stock at £400 !!

I also have a few hundred norma 110gr vmax the buyer can have at under rrp.

Or how about £400 for rifle only ? No scope or suppressor.

But you are getting a VERY little used Parker Hale in a Hogue stock with full length chassis.

Need to move this asap to make room in my cabinet and on my FAC !
