Winchester .357 Magnum 94 Trapper Lever Action

#1 Post by lapua338 »

The quintessential American rifle - a classic Model 94 Trapper chambered in .357 Magnum (will also shoot .38 Special with ease) with 16-inch barrel which offers an immensely practical shooting system (9 round tubular magazine). It is compact, rugged and reliable and offers quick follow-up shots perfectly suited for Gallery Rifle Centrefire competitions.
Standard Winchester Buckhorn rear sight and Dovetail front sight fitted to the gun.
Very good condition and excellent mechanical order with few handling marks to the original bluing and satin finish stock.
Williams aperture rear sight (Ghost ring) also included in the price.
Price: £400.00
Must sell to make space for a 1873 Uberti Short Rifle.

This is a great little carbine. Perfect for the lever-loving rifleman if he or she has a hankering for a pistol-calibre carbine.

The Model 94 is light and compact, and with modestly loaded .38 Special factory "Cowboy" loads it recoils like a yawning house-cat. It’s a great choice for younger or smaller shooters, as well as the recoil-shy.

It is fun, reliable, light-kicking and cheap.

Someone please buy it!

I all ready have one and I love it. I would not sell it for a pension cracking rifle.

I just find the 1873 length of throw better for lever action dexterity. Nothing is smoother than a properly tuned '73.

The gun will feed quickly and smoothly as the rounds are pushed straight into the chamber by the bolt. No angle. Plus the trigger can be tuned to a light pull with no creep. And the '73 is very easy to take apart and put back together and to do general maintenance work.

Plus, the gun is very, very fast.

Someone make a sensible offer and PM me.

It's a very nice handling carbine for someone starting out in Gallery Rifle-type shooting.

Williams aperture rear sight no longer available.

After much deliberation the gun is far too cheap and the new price is £450!

No offers. Take it or leave it.
