Umarex 1911/Sheridan EB22/Gamo R77/Red dot

#1 Post by zanes »

1) Umarex Colt 1911 (.177, CO2 8 shot). In good working order (marks from light usage) with original case/manuals, magazine and scope rail. £120 (these go for c.£180 new without the rail now). Ideal for a good plink.

2) Sheridan EB22 (.22, CO2 single shot). Lovely little pistol, very solid (brass) construction that would see me out. Few chips in the black (baked on) finish. These put out over 5ft.lbs. £90

3) Gamo R77 4" combat (.177 CO2); spares or repairs only, has a slow leak when CO2 pierced. Quite a rare pistol and unusual in that it has a full rotating cylinder rather than the usual short mag section. Comes with original case. £50.

4) Tasco red dot sight (silver) with battery £20 posted

1,2,3 will need to be collected or can be sent for £10 (via parcel force 48 express, as per permitted items list from the royal mail) per purchase (so you could by two or all three and only pay £10 once as £10 covers up to 10kg). I will need to see ID to comply with current laws regarding under 18s (photo of driving licence/FAC/SGC etc).

Any pics?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

On the right hand side view, is that a "photo shop" obliteration of the serial number, or an actual mark on the gun?

It's a mark on the gun. The finish around it is sound (from memory it looks more like an incomplete coating rather than chipped off, but I would need to check).

Finally remembered to check, and yes, it looks like a factory defect- it doesn't appear to be peeling or in danger of growing.
