SportEar electronic hearing protection

#1 Post by Sim G »

I've got a brand new set of SportEar select-a-fit 30 electronic plugs. These were bought a couple of years ago in the US, but then I got some custom plugs and now prefer electronic muffs. So these have never been worn.

The blurb says they have a 100% Digital Sinal Processing, 8x normal hearing amplification, Autoblocker Noise Compression, 2 digital channels for high fidelity sound equalisation, background noise reduction technology, 24 dB noise reduction and a custom fit!

These are designed as a protection and an enhancement. For use on the range and for hunting. A link

Here's the big one. The cheapest I've found these in the UK is over 520 pounds, granted on Midway UK. No one else seems to stock them. The RRP in the US is just under 500 dollars and the cheapest I've found them full stop has been ebay, at 449 dollars, with 130 dollar import fees and shipping on top...!!!

Yes, these are expensive. But they are supposed to be outstanding!

As I said, 500 US in the US, so I'm looking for 300 pounds. That's 220 pounds cheaper than Midway. A lot of money, yes, but I'll also trade if anyone fancies. I'm looking for a nice air rifle or pistol that could be part ex against these.

I'll get a pic up once image shack stops being a cow.....

These are on evilbay now with a starting price of £159. So the price here is also reduced to that in case a formite wishes to have them.
