Wamadet Press

#1 Post by Yogi GunKanobee »

I bought this press about a year ago when I first started reloading. It’s been a great press to learn the ropes on, and has the advantage that it doesn’t need fixing to a bench. In fact, you can plonk on the kitchen table and away you go.

They used to come mounted on a board with a little plaque, but they don’t now a days, but I’ll send it with the plank it’s currently mounted on if you would like it.

Wamadet press inc. Postage - £110

Helston bought up what original Wamadet parts there were and the manufactured those that were missing, they re did the priming system as well.

Nice presses, I use a couple and have been using one for decades, They should not considered just a beginners press as they will do anything any other single stage will, also they can just be bolted to a bench and there is no over hang.

If imitation is the greatest form of flattery then RCBS's new summit press is a Wamadet copy.

I have been sorely tempted here but someone else should have crack at owning and using a great British design reloading press.

Good luck with the sale.

My friend next door has had one for years. He also has a Dillon but still does all his rifle calibers on the Wamadet.
